John Doyle has been Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of South Australia since 1995. Prior to being appointed to the position he was the Solicitor-General for South Australia and was highly regarded for his skills as an advocate. Prior to that he was a founding member of Hanson Chambers, and immediately prior to his move to the independent bar, was a partner at Kelly & Co. Chief Justice Doyle’s topic is “…….. and then of course there’s sentencing”
