SA Press Club Awards Entry Form

The SA Press Club Awards, are for material published between 1 October 2023 and 30 September 2024. Entries close on Wednesday 2 October 2024 and must be on a copy of this official entry form, which can be downloaded from the SAPC web site. Late entries will not be accepted after this date.

Television News Report, Long Form Television Report, Best Broadcaster, Best News Camera Coverage, Best Extended Coverage of a News Event, Television, Radio or Online and Best Radio Report, plus television or radio entries in other categories (e.g Sport, Community, Regional Investigative and Scoop), are to be placed on YouTube (with availability until 4 November 2024) with a linkage for the judging panel provided in your covering email where your statement is attached. Please send each entry in a separate email, so that it can be on forwarded to judges if required. And with the photographic categories, we require only electronic versions, being a jpeg of your photograph, plus a pdf of the published version. With feature print category, and news report, please attach a pdf for the judges together with your statement. Don’t forget to keep a copy of your entry for your records.

Please ensure only one entry is attached per email for on forwarding to judges who happen to be judging a particular category.

Entry is free for SA Press Club members, that is employees of media outlets in South Australia.

A statement, completed on the attached form of no more than 250 words explaining appropriate background, research and other factors supporting the nomination must also be included. Please refer to the conditions of entry / judging criteria and note the judges’ decision is final. The SA Press Club Awards promote and recognise excellence in South Australian journalism and accordingly, entries must be judged to have a sufficient association with South Australia.
